Last month, Iron Cove was proud to be a Silver Sponsor and participate in the AITEC (Alternative Investment Technology Executives Club) Gives Back Foundation’s 5th Annual Charity Golf Event.
Since their founding in 2013, the AITEC Gives Back Foundation has been able to raise over $1.2 million in charitable donations for area youth and veterans programs! Now in its fifth year, the AITEC Charity Golf Event brings together a number of area companies and organizations for a fun afternoon of golfing all in the name of raising funds for worthwhile causes.
In recent years, proceeds from this golf event and others hosted by AITEC have been awarded to many important causes. These include the Wounded Warrior Project, Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, LZ Grace Foundation and Ground Work Hudson Valley.
When we arrived at the Upper Montclair Country Club, it was buzzing with activity as the foursomes prepared for the scramble golf event. The Iron Cove foursome was able to play well as a team, taking a quick lead by the fifth hole. We were able to hold strong throughout the rest of the day, and ended up winning the event!
With so many skilled golfers and teams participating, there was plenty of competition on the greens. But, our foursome was able to hang tough and finish the event eight under par, being crowned as this year’s event champions!
Beyond bragging rights, the AITEC Gives Back Foundation’s version of the ‘Claret Jug’ will be engraved with each the Iron Cove team member’s names for posterity.

This year’s event raised over $200 thousand dollars for the Year-Up and Catch A Lift foundations. We were truly appreciative of the opportunity to support such worthwhile causes.
